Trio of Primitive Angel Bust Ornies
These three angel bust ornies are made from needle-sculpted muslin that has been painted, sanded, stained and rubbed with cinnamon for that wonderful old look and feel. They have quilted muslin wings that have been put through a similar process and are attached with jute twine. Each is embellished with a rusty jingle bell and some sprigs of preserved sweet annie. They measure 3.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide and would be perfect tucked in your treenware, a bowl or a primitive cupboard.

Robin Box
The coming of spring in Michigan is often signified by the return of the Robin. Anxiously each year, my family and I wait to see who will be the first to spot one in our yard. I've attempted to capture their beauty with this humble offering.
The robin is made of muslin that has been painted, sanded, stained and then waxed. It was finished with a dusting of cinnamon to give it an aged appearance. They eyes are French knots in black crochet cotton. It measures 5 inches wide by 3 inches tall and is from my own pattern and design.
The robin is securely stitched into a twig nest that was lined with excelsior moss in a sage green color. The nest was then securely laced onto the top of the paper mache box lid.
The paper mache box measures 4x4x4 and has been carefully covered with a great vintage print paper in hues of green, blue and brown. The edges were sanded and aged with a special acid-free ink. The box was then coated with a layer of sealant, it has amazing depth and texture.
The tag on the front is made of stitched paper over linen. It is stamped & embossed in copper with the letter "r" for robin as well as embellished with some copper fasteners, copper colored fibers and robin's egg blue wooden & glass beads. The tag is removable should you choose to display it without.
Overall the entire piece measures 4 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall. It is OOAK and will come to you signed and dated.
